Product description

Mineral azure paint intended for decorative, glazing (not fully covering) paint coatings outside the building. Especially recommended for the primary and renovation painting of rough surfaces with an attractive texture. Used for painting mineral substrates (i.e. traditional lime, lime-cement and cement plasters as well as thin-layer mineral plasters, silicate / silicate plastics, polysilicate plasters) as well as coated plasters. Novalit L azure paint is produced from modified potassium water glass according to the innovative, low-alkali, polysilicate APS technology. Absorbent mineral substrates should be primed with Novalit GF before applying the paint.

Technical data:

  • base binder: special modified potassium water glass,
  • pigments: resistant to UV radiation and atmospheric agents, inorganic color pigments,
  • density: approx. 1.20 g / cm3,
  • thinner: water,
  • average consumption: approx. 0.15 l / m2,
  • application temperature: from +5 C to +25 C,
  • relative humidity: max. 75%
  • relative diffusion resistance for a 150 um coating: Sd = 0.04 m (standard size Sd smaller or equal to 2.0 m),
  • coefficient of surface absorption: w = 0.05 kg / m2h0.5,
  • low alkaline reaction of the product (pH 8 9.5),
  • microporous structure ensuring high vapor permeability,
  • can be used on both mineral and coated surfaces, with a plastic-based coating,
  • increased resistance to changes in atmospheric conditions during application and binding,
